An airless spray gun is a painting tool that uses high pressure to atomize paint and propel it onto a surface without the need for compressed air. This results in a more even and consistent finish compared to traditional rollers or brushes, making it ideal for large or difficult-to-reach areas.

How Does an Airless Spray Gun Work?

Paint Reservoir: Paint is poured into the reservoir, which can be located at the top or bottom of the gun depending on the model.

Pump: A hydraulic pump pressurizes the paint, typically up to 3,000 psi.

Filter: The paint passes through a filter to remove any impurities that could clog the nozzle.

Nozzle: The pressurized paint exits through a small nozzle, where it is atomized into a fine spray pattern.

Trigger: Pulling the trigger controls the flow of paint.

Airless Spray Gun Components:

Gun Body: Houses the trigger, handle, and fluid connections.

Trigger Guard: Protects the trigger from accidental activation.

Fluid Inlet: Where paint enters the gun from the pump or reservoir.

Nozzle Guard: Protects the nozzle from damage and helps direct the spray pattern.

Nozzle: Determines the spray pattern and fan size.

Types of Airless Spray Guns:

Handheld: Most common type, ideal for smaller projects and portability
